Today I loaded the ebook and paperback formats of Serpent’s Teeth, the fifth book in the Sir Anthony Standen Adventures, onto Kindle Direct Publishing. I have scheduled the publication date for the 1st of November. I have ordered a proof copy of the paperback so that I can check that all is well before publication.
I have started the upload process on Ingram Spark so that bookshops can buy it with a returns policy that KDP don’t do. For some reason the very same pdf text file and cover that loaded on KDP wouldn’t load on Ingram Spark. I’m waiting for the techies there to help me.
I have also created a cast list for the narrator of my audio books. I’m not going to jump straight into audio. It’s very expensive for a minuscule number of sales. So I’ll wait and see how the ebooks and paperbacks get on first.
Once I’ve seen the proof copy the book and got the Ingram Spark version sorted I’ll use the CWA publication promotion machine. I also need to update the bookshelf on my website as well as the reviews page.
