I have two pieces of news. Firstly, the second book in the series, Sir Anthony Standen Adventures, Fire and Earth, is now available as an audiobook. Together with the first book, The Spy who Sank the Armada, they’re available on Audible and iTunes. The third book, The Suggested Assassin, is in production. I think the narrator, Simon De Deney, has done a great job.
The second item of news is that I’ve received the paperback cover for the fourth book, Called to Account. That means that I’ve been able to set Called to Account up on KDP ready for publication on 8th November. I’ve also now got all four paperback books set up on Ingram Spark, ready for publication on 8th November. Ingram Spark are a major book distributor. This means that, if they want them, physical bookstores like Waterstones and Barnes and Noble will be able to stock my books. I think It’ll be really rather exciting to see my books on the shelves. My fingers are crossed.
I’m still waiting to hear about the radio and podcast interviews that my publicist is supposed to be arranging. Fingers and toes crossed that goes well. The next thing I need to do is order a sample of the Ingram Spark paperback of Called to Account to check the quality is OK.
Audiobook is a really popular option, but I only know one person who listens to them. I have a number of promo codes for the audiobooks, so here’s my idea. The first five people who contact me via my website asking for a promo code, and sign up for my newsletter (or are already signed up), will get one. The newsletter sign up is on my homepage. The contact button allows you to send me a message. Tell me whether you need a UK or US promo code, and whether you’d prefer The Spy who Sank the Armada, or Fire and Earth.
